We manage the complete design, operation and maintenance of our clients' property portfolios to deliver results which exceed their strategic goals in a sustainable and cost effective manner. Maintenance
Environmental Management
DPS Facilities Management can review current waste management, environmental control and management practices. We can update such procedures to assist companies in achieving either BS 5558 : 2003 Environmental Management or ISO 14001:2008 Environmental Management accreditation.
Fire and Security Systems
DPSFM employ both in house and sub-contract maintenance companies to ensure the proper maintenance of Fire and Security systems.
Mechanical Systems
DPSFM ensure that mechanical heating and air conditioning systems are properly maintained and serviced to minimise any potential disruptions in service.
Building Fabric Maintenance
DPSFM will assess the maintenance requirements for the building fabric – painting, cleaning, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, rainwater goods maintenance etc. Having ascertained requirements DPSFM will employ either sub-contract or in-house personnel to carry out a specified programme of building fabric maintenance.
External Works Maintenance
DPSFM can provide landscape gardeners to maintain landscaped areas, car park management services, hard surface cleaning services or other services as appropriate.
Help Desk
DPSFM operate a 24 hour, 365 day a year help desk to respond to any facilities issues that might arise.
Rent Collection
Where a building involves multiple tenancies DPSFM can provide full rent collection and retrieval services.
Projects
Project Management
DPS Facilities Management can provide full project management services, architectural services and engineering services for any building projects or refurbishment works as required. Jan van Dijk has a degree in architecture and a masters in business administration. He has lectured in project management in UCD. A number of his employees have specialist project management qualifications.
Energy Audits
DPSFM can provide full energy audits (partly funded by SEAI) to assess where ongoing savings can be made in terms of energy efficiency. Cost benefit analysis can be provided for any proposed works.
Planning Permission
DPSFM can prepare planning applications where necessary for any proposed building works and can provide certification with both planning permission and building regulations on completion.
Mapping
DPSFM can provide legal maps where required for transfers of ownership, attachment to bank loan agreements or for funding applications to government organisations.
Space Planning
Where changes to internal production facilities, services, room layouts or other such alterations are being considered, DPSFM can provide full three dimensional space planning services to assist our clients in obtaining the most efficient and appropriate outcome.
Repair Works
Where buildings require substantive repair works, DPSFM can provide full specification, contract management and cost control services to ensure that a professional and cost efficient outcome is achieved.
Health and Safety
Building Information Archive
DPS Facilities Management will review any safety files and building information currently available for your properties and advise where information might be lacking. The information that is available will be scanned or otherwise digitised and stored on our secure data server accessible through a detailed database retrieval system.
Building Surveys
Where applicable DPSFM can carry out building, topographical or services surveys to enhance the existing building information so that a fully compliant information database exists.
Health and Safety
DPSFM will review the current safety statements and other safety procedures within the working environment to ensure that it complies with current safety standards. Where required DPSFM can both prepare statements and procedures in compliance with current standards and ensure that those are regularly reviewed as appropriate.
Fire Safety
DPSFM will review your current Fire safety Certificates to ensure that the building complies with requirements and where necessary can apply for Fire Safety Certificates where alteration, or additions to the building take place.
